All four matchups this week in the LBBL were decided by two points or less in arguably the most competitive week of the 2012 Fantasy Baseball Season. My matchup with the first place defending champs came down to the wire and I missed a 5-5 tie by 7 thousandths of a point in WHIP. Serves me right too as the main culprit blowing up my staff's numbers was Adam Wainwright, who I poached off of BJ's Upton Here a couple weeks ago. Oh well. On a brighter note, newly acquired Chris Sale got us a win and I finally had a first baseman (Billy Butler) hit over .200 this week so things are looking up. Here's a look at the rest of Week 9:
Best Available:
Runs - Alejandro De Aza (White Sox) - 39 HRs - Adam Dunn (White Sox) - 17 RBIs - Adam Dunn (White Sox) - 38 SBs - Emilio Bonifacio (Miami) - 20 Avg - Yadier Molina - .335 (61/182)
ERA - James McDonald (Pittsburgh) - 2.14 (71 1/3 IP) WHIP - James McDonald (Pittsburgh) - 0.95 (71 1/3 IP) W - R.A. Dickey (Mets) - 8 SV - Brandon League (Seattle) - 9 SO - James McDonald (Pittsburgh) - 71
Performance of the Week:
Johan Santana became the first player in Mets history to throw a no hitter shutting down the potent Cardinals offense in an 8-0 victory. Santana walked five and threw 134 pitches, but struck out eight including David Freese to end the game. It wasn't enough for the Laser Show though as they came up short against the Fluffy Bunnies in a 6-4 loss.

Pujols is up to eight homers now and has the average inching higher now reaching .235. He actually had it as high as .243 this week, but went hitless with four walks against the Rangers this weekend. Here's the weekly list of players with my homers than the machine:
Dayan Viciedo
Billy Butler
J.J. Hardy
Mark Trumbo
David Freese
Justin Smoak
Josh Willingham
Kelly Johnson
Andre Ethier
