Michael Bradley
scored his first Serie A goal today in Chievo Verona's 3-2 win over Catania. The 24 year old U.S. National Team midfielder was left unmarked at the top of the box just before the 6 minute mark and he drilled a first touch right-footed shot inside the right post to give the Flying Donkeys an early 1-0 lead. Bradley is in the midst of his first season in Italy after stints in the Netherlands, England and Germany and had been held scoreless in his first 29 appearances for his new club. The goal was Bradley's first since scoring for the U.S. against Mexico in the Gold Cup Final last summer.
