Boston Mayor Thomas "Mumbles" Menino has obviously not been following the Celtics this season. To his credit, at least the players he named in a recent interview were actual basketball players. However there is a big difference between KJ and KG, and Hondo and Rondo:

KG (aka Kevin Garnett) is the starting center for the Celtics. KJ (aka Kevin Johnson) is a former Phoenix Suns point guard retiring in 2000 and the current mayor of Sacramento.
Rajon Rondo is Boston's starting point guard. "Hondo" (aka John Havlicek) was an 8-time NBA Champion with the Celtics, but retired in 1978.

Mayor Menino isn't exactly new to messing up the names of Boston sports figures though. He has previously referred to New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski as "Grabowski", wide receiver Wes Welker as "Wes Weckler", and even credited Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek with kicking the winning field goal in the Super Bowl. Valiant effort for Menino trying to connect with his constituents, but very poor execution.
"KJ and Hondo" will be back in action tonight as the Celtics take on the Heat in Miami in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. A Boston win will set up an NBA Finals showdown between the Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder.
