CARDINALS 5 PHILLIES 3 - Series tied 2-2
Matt Holliday deserves to be mentioned here for playing through pain and scoring a pair of runs for the Cardinals, but this series isn't headed to Game 5 if not for the heroics of David Freese. The 28 year old third baseman delivered a two run double in the 4th to give the Cardinals a 3-2 lead and added a 428 foot 2-run home run to straight away center in the 6th as the Cardinals live to fight another day. The win also means that Albert Pujols will play at least one more game in a Cardinals uniform.

DIAMONDBACKS 10 BREWERS 6 - Series tied 2-2
Aaron Hill hit a solo home run and Chris Young homered twice, but it was 31 year old journeyman Ryan Roberts who delivered the big blow. Down a run early, Roberts stepped in with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the first and crushed a Randy Wolf offering over the left field fence and into the Arizona bullpen for a Grand Slam to give the D-Backs a lead they would not relinquish and send the series back to Milwaukee.
