I bet the Rangers are wishing the media hadn't spent all day yesterday bashing Albert Pujols for not addressing the media after Game 2. Tonight it was Albert Pujols who did the bashing connecting for not one, not two, but THREE HOME RUNS off of Ranger pitching in a 16-7 rout of Texas giving the Cardinals a 2-1 lead in the World Series. Pujols, who was hitless in St. Louis in the first two games, went 5 for 6 in the game, scored 4 runs and finished with 6 rbis. Just ridiculous stuff from Albert. In case you weren't watching the game because you were busy watching some of the crazy college football games tonight here's what you missed:
1255 feet of home runs. That's almost a quarter mile. Pujols becomes the second player this postseason to hit 3 home runs in a game and joins Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson as the only players ever to accomplish the feat in the World Series. Not bad company to be in. Game 4 is tomorrow night and both teams are going to be looking for their starters to go deep into the ball game after neither starter made it out of the 4th tonight.
