Go, Go Power Rangers!

The Rangers are headed back to the ALCS for the second straight year on the strength of four solo home runs as they defeated the Rays 4-3 this afternoon. Ian Kinsler led off the game with a home run, and then it was the Adrian Beltre show. Beltre homered in the 2nd, 4th and 7th innings, the first two off of Jeremy Hellickson and the last off of Game 1 starter Matt Moore, as Beltre snapped out of a 1 for 11 skid in a BIG way.

How rare is Beltre's accomplishment of hitting three home runs in a playoff game? It's only the seventh time it's happened. EVER. In over 100 years of playoff baseball! Here are the others, some of them you may have heard of:
