Out in Oregon with the wife this weekend, I'm gonna make these quick. Here's my picks for Week 5:
Eagles over the Bills - Philly is overdue for a good performance, still not sold on Buffalo.
Bengals over Jaguars - In a battle of rookies, I like Dalton over Gabbard.
Titans over Steelers - This is a bit of a reach, but Pittsburgh is banged up and the Titans have won three straight.
Chiefs over Colts - Not on the Curtis Painter bandwagon. Not even slightly.
Texans over Raiders - RIP Al Davis. Texans, even without Andre Johnson are too powerful on offense.
Cardinals over Vikings - Kevin Kolb and the Arizona offense are starting to click. McNabb and Vikings offense are not.
Saints over Panthers - Drew Brees > Cam Newton.
Giants over Seahawks - Hard to pick a team with Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback.
Bucs over 49ers - 49ers are coming off a big win. Expect a bit of a hangover against the stingy Buccaneers.
Chargers over Broncos - Lots of issues in Denver right now.
Patriots over Jets - Does New England ever lose two in a row in the division?
Packers over Falcons - Until somebody beats them, can't pick against them.
Lions over Bears - Back to picking against Chicago. Lions get to the quarterback better than anyone. Bears are worst at protecting the quarterback.
Byes: Miami, Cleveland, Washington, Dallas, St. Louis, Baltimore
Last Week: 13-3
