With just 12 wins on the year, the New Jersey Nets haven't had a lot to feel good about. Tonight was a different story though. Point guard Deron Williams scored a franchise record 57 points as the Nets rallied from a 16 point deficit to beat the hapless Charlotte Bobcats 104-101. Williams broke the Nets old scoring record of 52 shared by Mike Newlin and Ray Williams thanks to a 40 points second half. Williams' 57 points is the most scored by an NBA player this season, and his perfect 21 for 21 free throw shooting gives him the most made free throws without a miss in a 50 point game in NBA history.
