American and Anderlecht midfielder Sacha Kljestan headed home a corner for his 4th goal of the Jupiler League season today as Anderlecht defeated Zulte-Waregem 2-1 and finished the regular season in first place with a record of 20-3-7. Anderlecht now moves on to the postseason where the league's top six teams each play each other twice in a round-robin tournament to determine the league champion. Among the teams that are advancing is KAA Gent who features fellow U.S. National Teamer Mix Diskerud, currently on loan from his Norwegian club Stabæk. Kljestan's success in Belgium recently got the attention of U.S. National Team coach Jurgen Klinsmann as Kljestan was a late add to the U.S. roster against Italy, and he came on as a second half substitute for Brek Shea in the U.S.'s historic 1-0 win.
