Parkhurst Scores First Goal in Denmark
It took four seasons and over 80 matches, but defender Michael Parkhurst has finally scored his first goal in the Danish Superliga. The FC Nordsjælland center back has been playing extremely well this season, and his play recently earned him a pair of starts for the U.S. National Team this past January against Venezuela and Panama. FC Nordsjælland has never finished higher than third since their promotion to the SuperLiga in 2002, and they currently sit in second place a full 7 points clear of AC Horsens.
