Tuesday Trivia

Last week's question:

For all of Tom Brady's postseason accolades, the Divisional Round marked just the 4th time in 20 (now 21) career playoffs games that he's thrown for over 300 yards. The last two occurrences both came against the Denver Broncos. What two other teams has Brady thrown for 300 yards against during the postseason?

Brady eclipsed 300 yards in his playoff debut in the 'Tuck Rule Game' against the Raiders and then again in Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Carolina Panthers. Hard to believe that those two games plus the two Broncos games are it for Brady though as far as 300 yard performances go. I always thought he was a much more prolific postseason passer. I guess it just goes to show that when you win, no one really cares about your numbers. Here's a look at all of Brady's postseason performances thus far:

That works out to an average Brady playoff performance being 22 for 36 for 239 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception.

Eli Manning and Tom Brady will face off against one another in a Super Bowl for the second time next weekend making it just the 3rd time in NFL history that there has been a rematch between starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl. What two other sets of quarterbacks started against one another in multiple Super Bowls?
