Tuesday Trivia

Last week's question:

Rajon Rondo's ejection against the Pistons was his team high 7th technical foul in just 22 games this year. At that rate, Rondo would accumulate 26 technicals in 82 games, enough to easily lead the league most seasons. Who was the last Boston Celtic to lead the league in technical fouls?

Answer:

Sorry Scalabrine fans, the answer is Mr. Technical Foul himself, Rasheed Wallace. The all time leader in technical fouls with 304, Wallace spent one season with the Celtics (2009-10) and tied for the league lead in technical fouls with Dwight Howard with 17.

The last Celtic to lead the league outright in technical fouls was Antoine Walker who had a league high 23 back in 2002-03. And in honor of that that we're going to post this throwback Adidas commercial.

Dwyane Wade dealt Kobe Bryant a particularly hard foul during Sunday's NBA All Star game actually drawing blood and breaking Bryant's nose. The foul was one of four Wade picked up in the game. Who was the last player to actually foul out of an All Star Game? Yes, it has happened.
