The Heat found themselves losers for the 4th straight game last night dropping a tight one to the Atlanta Hawks 93-89 in overtime. Lebron James was back in action for this one after missing the previous two games due to an ankle injury, but he struggled with his shot hitting just 11 of 30 from the field and 2 of 10 from 3 point range. It was the first time all year that James had attempted more than 26 shots in a game as well as the first time he'd attempted double digit 3-pointers. Part of that was due to Chris Bosh missing his first game of the year with a sprained ankle sustained against the Bulls. His replacement, Joel Anthony, posted quite the statline: 43 minutes, 0 shot attempts, 8 offensive rebounds, 16 total rebounds. While his toughness on the glass was greatly appreciated, his inability to score was detrimental to the Heat's overall effort. The Hawks were able to play off of him and pay more attention to the Heat's shooters, and held them to just 36.4% shooting, and 7 of 30 from outside. The Hawks didn't far much better offensively though managing to convert just 7 of 31 of their 3 point attempts. Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford led the way for Atlanta with 19 points apiece and Josh Smith chipped in 12 rebounds. At 28-15 the Hawks are now just 2 games behind Miami in the Southeast Division.
