LaMarcus Aldridge must be Reading my Blog

Ok, that statement's probably not true, but it's a little funny that one day after talking about two of league's premier young power forwards, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love, that LaMarcus Aldridge, who was left off my list when I was comparing those two to other elite power forwards, would lead his Blazers to a win over Blake Griffin and the Clippers 108-93. Aldridge went for a team-high 28 points on 13 of 20 shooting and added 8 rebounds and 3 assists going head to head against Griffin. Griffin may have won the battle on the glass picking up a jaw-dropping 18 rebounds, but he scored just 20 points and was held to 6 of 17 from the floor. It's not like Aldridge came out of nowhere either as the 25 year old is in the midst of his best NBA season averaging career bests in points (21.3) and rebounds (8.8). So there you go, LaMarcus. Props. Wesley Matthews also had 28 points for the Blazers and this one and Andre Miller had a solid all-around effort with 15 points 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Eric Gordon led all scorers with 35 points.
