USA Women Win!

Despite losing the opening game of the Four Nations Tournament, the USA came away the victors with a 2-0 win over China this morning. That coupled with Canada's 1-0 win over Sweden clinched it for the Americans. Final Standings:

1 - United States
2 - Canada
3 - China
4 - Sweden

Carli Lloyd scored her 2nd goal of the tournament to give the US the lead in the 31st minute, and Amy Rodriguez added the insurance goal in the 67th. Rodriguez also assisted on Lloyd's goal. Nicole Barnhart started in goal and recorded her first shutout of the tournament and earned the Tournament's Best Goalkeeper Award as American's top keeper Hope Solo was out still recovering from shoulder surgery she had this past fall. Canada's Christine Sinclair won Best Player honors and China's You Jia was the Top Scorer.
The U.S. women don't have any more matches on their schedule until the World Cup in Germany this summer where they'll face off against North Korea, Colombia and familiar foe Sweden.
