Chelsea got goals from Ramires and Didier Drogba and then held off a late charge from Liverpool to win the 2012 FA Cup Final by a score of 2-1 at Wembley Stadium today. It marked Chelsea's fourth FA Cup Title in the past six seasons and their their third in the past four. Andrew Carroll nearly played the hero for Liverpool coming off the bench in the second half and scoring one goal and just barely missing an equalizer as his header from 5 yards out was saved by Peter Cech and deflected off the underside of the bar without crossing the goal line with under ten minutes to play. Chelsea now has two weeks to prepare for a second piece of hardware this season as they get ready for Bayern Munich in the Final of the UEFA Champions League.
