Move Over DeSean Jackson...

DeSean Jackson's electrifying punt return as time expired against the Giants yesterday was amazing. But who would've guessed he'd be shown up on Sunday night... by a LINEMAN. Dan Connolly, a 6'4" 313 lbs Guard out of Southeast Missouri State, returned a squib kick 71 yards late in the second quarter against Green Bay last night. Watch the ridiculousness...

Connolly goes 71 yards

This was the longest kick return by an offensive lineman in NFL history, and I've got to be honest, it's going to be tough for anyone to top that. Connolly had 3 returns in his career prior to this one, the longest being 16 yards.

  1. And we have a new kick return STAR to add to the already impressive list of Patriots. If it werent for Connolly's head injury I would venture to say that the mad scientist would be working out a new kick return scheme where Edelman blocks for Connolly.

  2. Edelman, Woodhead and Welker. I wouldn't put it past him.
