Wayne Rooney's Goal of the Year

Coming into their big rivalry game against Manchester City on Saturday, Wayne Rooney had scored just 4 premier league goals, this after scoring 26 a season ago. He could not have picked a better time or a better way to get number 5. Deadlocked at 1 late in the 78th minute, Rooney ripped home a bicycle kick on a cross from Nani into the upper right corner as City keeper Joe Hart could just helplessly watch. Manchester United would go on to win by that final score of 2-1 and pick up 3 huge points to maintain their 4 point lead over Arsenal atop the Premier League.
