2011 Gold Glove Winners Announced

The 2011 Gold Glove Winners were announced yesterday with a number of teams getting multiple selections. The Red Sox and Dodgers each led their respective leagues with three members getting selected, while the Reds and Orioles each had a pair of winners. Overall a lot of new faces as 9 players won the award for the first time as some fairly big names were displaced from the winner's circle this year including Derek Jeter, Joe Mauer, Ichiro Suzuki, Mark Teixeira, Carl Crawford, Michael Bourn and Albert Pujols.
