Ryan Braun named NL MVP

Ryan Braun was named the NL MVP yesterday edging out Dodgers centerfielder Matt Kemp for the honor meaning I successfully picked all eight postseason award winners. Braun received 20 of 32 first place votes after hitting .332 with 33 homers and 111 runs batted in. More importantly, he led the Brewers to a franchise-record 96 wins and helped them win their first ever NL Central title. Kemp finished second with 10 first place votes, Braun's teammate Prince Fielder was third, Arizona's Justin Upton fourth and Albert Pujols fifth. Fielder and Upton each received one first place vote as well.
