Fantasy Football Report - Week 12

Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuz! Much to my little brother's dismay, the easiest way to negate a 400+ yard 2 touchdown effort from Eli Manning is to have the guy who he's always throwing the ball to. Another win for Corn on the Kolb. Thank you Victor Cruz.
So with one week remaining in the regular season we're now looking at the two seed. I've got to say I'm a little concerned though since we've got my buddy Waechter and the Hanibals lurking down there between 6 and 8. Despite a 6-6 record, he has more points than every team but one and he's gone for 150+ three times. With my luck that'll be my first round opponent likely sending me to the consolation bracket for the 7th straight year.

Here's a look at Week 12's Top Performers:

QB - Drew Brees was a one man show last night throwing for 363 yards and 4 touchdowns and running for a 5th score as the Saints routed the Giants 49-24. Fantasy Points: 40

WR - The aforementioned Victor Cruz caught 9 passes for 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns in New York's loss to New Orleans last night. Not bad for a guy who went undrafted out of Massachusetts and was subsequently not drafted in our fantasy league. Makes us look pretty stupid considering we did draft guys like Andre Roberts, Danario Alexander and Terrell Owens (really?). Fantasy Points: 31

RB - Roy Helu became the first Washington rookie running back in nearly a decade to run for 100 yards in a game finishing with 108 and a touchdown to go along with 7 receptions for 54 yards. Fantasy Points: 23

TE - Jimmy Graham reclaims the top spot from Rob Gronkowski hauling in 5 passes for 84 yards and 2 scores against the Giants last night. Fantasy Points: 21

K - Sebastian Janikowski kicked 6 field goals as the Raiders edged out the Bears 25-20. Fantasy Points: 23

DEF - The Ravens sacked Alex Smith 9 times as they dealt the 49ers just their second loss of the season on Thanksgiving Day. Fantasy Points: 18
