Algarve Cup Finals Set - USA vs Iceland

The United States had already clinched a spot in the finals following their wins over Japan and Norway, but didn't show any signs of being complacent against Finland routing them 4-0 and finishing 3-0 in Group A play. The U.S. got a pair of goals from Alex Morgan, and one apiece from Shannon Boxx and Carli Lloyd as the Americans won their 5th straight match. Lloyd's goal was her team high 3rd in 2011 and 2nd of the Algarve Cup. Iceland meanwhile, ranked 17th in the world finished, a perfect 3-0 in Group B ahead of Sweden (4th), Denmark (14th) and China (13th). Their 1-0 win over Denmark today propelled them on through to the finals. Here are all the results from today as well as the pairings for the final round of the tournament on Wednesday:
