Hockey Playoff Races

The NHL Playoff Picture becomes a little bit clearer as we get closer to the finish line. Here's what the Eastern Conference Race looks like:

As you can see, four teams have clinched and it's really down to just the Hurricanes having a realistic shot of moving from the outside in. Out West, things are still pretty cluttered with the Canucks having clinched the #1 seed, but only two teams (Colorado and Edmonton) having been eliminated and no one else having clinched a spot:

Phoenix, Los Angeles, Anaheim and Nashville have all been playing well lately, with none of them losing more than two games over their last 10. Dallas meanwhile has lost 4 in a row which has kept them on the outside looking in.
