Bulls Clinch the #1 Seed in the East

The Chicago Bulls clinched home court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs with a 93-82 win over Cleveland last night. Carlos Boozer led the way with 24 points and 11 rebounds and the Bulls had 6 players in double figures en route to their 59 win of the season. Derrick Rose had just 11 points and 8 assists, but it was more than enough for the Bulls who led by as many as 17.

Miami and Boston will now battle it out for 2nd as they both won their 55th game last night. Boston beat the Wizards 104-88 behind 20 points 14 assists and 6 steals by Rajon Rondo and 22 points and 12 rebounds from Paul Pierce. Miami meanwhile knocked off the Bobcats 112-103 as Dwyane Wade returned to action. Chris Bosh had 27 points and 10 rebounds, LeBron had 23 points 7 rebounds and 9 assists, and Wade had 27 points while hitting 15 of 16 free throws. The two teams face off Sunday with the winner virtually guaranteed to be the #2 seed.
