Steve Downie scored his first postseason goal in 11 career playoff games. He now had 5 assists in the postseason after picking up two last night... Marc-Andre Fleury faced just 21 shots but allowed 4 goals... Teddy Purcell's goal was the first of his playoff career... 41 year old Dwayne Roloson won his 21st career playoff game. Prior to this season he hadn't played in the postseason since 2006 with the Oilers.. Game 7 will be Wednesday night in Pittsburgh.

This was the third game this series to go into overtime. San Jose won all 3 (games 1, 3 and 6)... Joe Thornton's game winner was his 17th career playoff goal in 97 games with Boston and San Jose. He is now one goal shy of his career playoff high set in 2010 with the Sharks (3 goals in 15 games) and 1999 with the B's (3 goals in 11 games)... Dany Heatley had 2 goals and 11 assists for the Sharks in last year's playoffs (14 games). He has 2 goals and 2 assists through 6 games this year... Antti Niemi has allowed 19 goals in the 6 game series and was pulled out of games twice. Last year with the Blackhawks he went 16-6 in the postseason and allowed just 2.63 goals per game.
