NHL Eastern Conference Finals - Game 2

BOSTON 6 TAMPA BAY 5- Series tied 1-1.

TAM- Adam Hall (1), Martin St. Louis (7), Vincent Lecavalier (6), Steven Stamkos (5), Dominic Moore (3)
BOS- Nathan Horton (6), Tyler Seguin 2 (3), David Krejci (6), Michael Ryder 2 (4)

Notes:

Adam Hall's goal was scored 13 seconds after the opening faceoff. It is the quickest goal in Lightning playoff history. Hall scored just 7 goals during the regular season and had been scoreless in his first 12 playoff games this year... 19 year old Tyler Seguin had 2 goals and 2 assists in his second career playoff game for the Bruins. The second overall pick in the 2010 draft now has 3 goals and 3 assists in the series after not seeing action against Montreal or Philadelphia... Dwayne Roloson and Tim Thomas entered play ranked #1 and #3 respectively in postseason goals against average. Following the first two games of this series, they are now ranked #6 and #7... Martin St. Louis (1 goal 1 assist) and Vincent Lecavalier (1 goal 3 assists) tied Vancouver's Ryan Kesler for the postseason scoring lead with 16 points... Dwayne Roloson was benched for the 3rd period after allowing 6 goals in 27 shots. Mike Smith replaced him and stopped all he shots he faced. Smith started 20 games for the Lightning during the regular season. This was his first career playoff appearance... Boston scored a pair of power play goals after not scoring any in Game 1... After not scoring in Game 1, Tampa Bay's top 4 regular season goal scorers, Steven Stamkos, St. Louis, Lecavalier, and Dominic Moore all found the net in Game 2... Game 3 will be Thursday night as the series shifts to Tampa Bay.
