NHL Western Conference Finals - Game 4

VANCOUVER 4 SAN JOSE 2 - Vancouver leads series 3-1.

SAN- Andrew Desjardins (1), Ryane Clowe (6)

Notes:

The Canucks scored 3 goals during 5 on 3 advantages in a 1:55 span during the second period. Meanwhile the Sharks failed to convert on all 5 of their power play opportunities.. The Sedin brothers combined for 7 assists an Henrik assisted on all four goals while Daniel assisted on the last three. Henrik now leads the NHL in postseason points (19) and assists (17). Teammate Ryan Kesler is tied for second with 17 points... 36 year old defenseman Sami Salo had 2 goals and an assist in Game 4 after tallying just 1 goal and 0 assists in his previous 12 appearances this postseason... 24 year old rookie Andrew Desjardins scored in just his second career postseason appearance. Desjardins had 1 goal and 2 assists in 17 games during the regular season... Roberto Luongo made 33 saves for the Canucks as he earned his 28th career postseason win... The Canucks played without injured defensemen Christian Ehrhoff and Aaron Rome... Vancouver can clinch a berth to the Stanley Cup finals with a win tomorrow night on their home ice. The Canucks outscored San Jose 10-5 in the two opening games in Vancouver.
