NHL Western Conference Finals - Game 2

VANCOUVER 7 SAN JOSE 3 - Vancouver leads series 2-0.

Notes:

The Canucks scored 2 goals in a 39 second span during the 1st period to erase a 1-0 deficit... The two teams combined for 5 power play goals with San Jose going 2 for 2 and Vancouver going 3 for 7... Daniel Sedin tied Tampa Bay's Sean Bergenheim with his 8th goal of the postseason in the 3rd period... Logan Couture's 7th goal tied Ville Leino (2010) and Richard Zednik (1998) for the most goals scored by a rookie in a single postseason over the past 20 years. The 22 year old scored 32 goals in 79 games for the Sharks during the regular season... Aaron Rome's goal was his first in 13 career playoff games... Ben Eager's goal was 3rd of his postseason career (spanning 47 games). He had 7 goals during the regular season splitting time between Atlanta and San Jose. Eager was a member of the Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks last season... With 3 assists in Game 2, Henrik Sedin now leads all players in postseason assists this year with 12. Dan Hamhuis also added 3 assists in the win. In his first 14 playoff games this year, he tallied just two... Game 3 of the series will be Friday night in San Jose. The Sharks had just 11 regulation losses at home during the regular season, but the Canucks had the best road record in the NHL.
